Welcome to Session Hero™.
Session Hero is developed and operated by Sunscribe™. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Session Hero app and related services.
By creating an account or using Session Hero, you agree to these Terms.
WHAT SESSION HERO DOES
Session Hero is a scheduling and coordination service designed for tabletop gaming groups.
It provides tools for organizing parties, sharing availability, coordinating sessions, communicating with party members, and using other tabletop-focused planning features.
Session Hero helps groups coordinate. It cannot guarantee that your group will actually agree on a date. Some quests remain beyond our power.
YOUR ACCOUNT
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Session Hero account and for activity performed through it.
Please provide accurate information where required and keep your account credentials secure.
You may not impersonate another person, access another user's account without authorization, or use Session Hero in a way intended to compromise another account or the service.
Your Hero Sigil and other account features may be used to identify or connect you with other users within Session Hero.
PARTIES AND SHARED CONTENT
Session Hero is built around shared group spaces.
When you join a party or use collaborative features, certain information and content may be visible to other members of that party. This can include your display name, availability, messages, announcements, polls, scheduling information, and other content you choose to share.
You are responsible for the content you submit through Session Hero.
You retain ownership of content you create. By submitting content to Session Hero, you give Sunscribe the limited permission necessary to store, process, display, transmit, and otherwise handle that content solely as needed to operate, maintain, secure, and provide Session Hero.
This permission does not transfer ownership of your content to Sunscribe.
ACCEPTABLE USE
Session Hero should be used in a lawful and respectful manner.
You may not use Session Hero to:
• Harass, threaten, exploit, or abuse other people.
• Post or distribute unlawful content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.
• Interfere with or intentionally disrupt the operation or security of Session Hero.
• Use automated systems, scraping tools, or similar methods to access the service in ways that are abusive or place unreasonable demands on it.
• Circumvent access controls, subscription restrictions, security measures, or other technical protections.
• Use Session Hero for fraud or other unlawful activity.
We may restrict or terminate access to Session Hero when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, Sunscribe, or others, or when these Terms are materially violated.
SCHEDULING AND COORDINATION
Session Hero provides tools intended to help groups coordinate schedules and sessions.
Suggestions, availability information, reminders, calendar entries, notifications, and other scheduling features are coordination tools. You remain responsible for confirming plans with your group and for the accuracy of information you enter.
Session Hero does not guarantee that notifications, reminders, calendar events, or scheduling information will always be delivered, synchronized, or displayed without interruption or error.
SUBSCRIPTIONS AND PAID FEATURES
Session Hero may offer subscriptions, one-time purchases, or other forms of paid access.
Available products, features, prices, billing periods, and applicable terms will be shown at the time of purchase.
Purchases made through Apple or Google are processed by the applicable app store and are also subject to that store's payment, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms.
Unless otherwise stated by the applicable store or required by law, subscriptions automatically renew until canceled.
You can manage or cancel an app-store subscription through the subscription settings associated with your Apple or Google account.
Access to paid features may change when a subscription expires, is canceled, is refunded, cannot be renewed, or otherwise becomes inactive.
ADVERTISING
Some versions or access levels of Session Hero may display advertising.
Advertising may be provided by third-party advertising services and is subject to the privacy choices and permissions described in the Session Hero Privacy Policy and your device settings.
Paid or otherwise eligible access levels may exclude advertising as described when that access is offered.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Session Hero relies on third-party platforms and service providers to provide certain functionality, including services related to authentication, infrastructure, notifications, subscriptions, advertising, diagnostics, and app distribution.
Your use of certain third-party services may also be governed by their own terms and policies.
Sunscribe is not responsible for third-party services outside of its reasonable control.
ACCOUNT DELETION
You may delete your Session Hero account using the account-deletion controls provided in the app.
Deleting your account may permanently remove your access to account information, parties, settings, and other associated data.
Some information may be retained where reasonably necessary for legal, security, fraud-prevention, transaction, or recordkeeping purposes. Information previously shared in collaborative spaces may also be handled as described in the Session Hero Privacy Policy.
Deleting your Session Hero account does not necessarily cancel an active app-store subscription. Subscriptions should be managed separately through the applicable Apple or Google subscription settings.
SESSION HERO AND SUNSCRIBE PROPERTY
Session Hero, including its software, design, branding, original graphics, written content, and other original materials provided by Sunscribe, is owned by Sunscribe or used with appropriate permission and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
These Terms do not grant you ownership of Session Hero or permission to copy, distribute, reverse engineer, reproduce, sell, or commercially exploit Sunscribe-owned materials except where applicable law expressly permits otherwise.
Session Hero™ and Sunscribe™ are trademarks of Sunscribe LLC.
Third-party software and materials remain subject to their respective licenses and ownership rights.
SERVICE CHANGES AND AVAILABILITY
Session Hero is an actively maintained service and will continue to evolve.
We may add, change, improve, remove, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary to develop, maintain, secure, or operate the service.
We aim to keep Session Hero available and reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, outages, platform changes, technical problems, or circumstances outside our reasonable control may occasionally affect availability.
DISCLAIMER
Session Hero is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law.
Sunscribe makes no guarantee that Session Hero will always be uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, or suitable for every particular purpose.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, rights, or protections that cannot legally be excluded.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Sunscribe will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, Session Hero.
Where liability cannot legally be excluded, Sunscribe's liability will be limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
Session Hero will continue to grow, and these Terms may occasionally change.
When we make material changes, we will update these Terms and the "Last updated" date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request your agreement before revised Terms take effect.
Your continued use of Session Hero after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of those Terms where permitted by law.
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Sunscribe in the State of South Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
Any rights available to you under mandatory consumer-protection laws where you live remain unaffected.
